Othonoi is the largest of the Diapontia islands and the farthest from Corfu (14 nautical miles), very close to the shores of Albania.
Its few shops and tavernas are gathered in the port of Ammos, where the boat will leave you. A surface road leads to Chorio (11km), the main village of the island. Explore the narrow lanes with their traditional houses, the old churches, the ruins of the Venetian castle and enjoy the suberb view of Corfu and the rest of the island.
From Ammos you can hire a boat and explore the beach with its clear green waters and the cave where Calypso held Ulysses a captive..
