Longos is the epitome of a small Ionian harbour. An
exceptionally pretty little fishing village, where the traditional way of life
is barely touched by the summer visitors.
Olive-clad hills fold about it, while down at sea-level, only a narrow strip of quayside separates the moored boats from the clustered restaurants where the fish is always fresh and the evenings are always lively and surprisingly cosmopolitan.
Some beautiful beaches await the visitor willing to explore the area by boat or on foot.
