Our taverna is located at the village square and it is the only one to survive the passage of time, for it has been open since 1863, since then, it has been run by the same family, serving in the past the locals and villagers and more recently the tourists.

The quality of food, the friendly service and the real traditional tastes are some of the things you will never forget. Here, you will find Corfiot and Perithian meat specialties cooked with fresh vegetables. The meat is taken from the cattle breeding around the mountains and the vegetables are home grown.

The “Rabbit stifado” cooked in red sauce with whole fresh onions. “Pastitsado”, which is considered  by the Corfiots the main dish on festive days, as well as on formal celebrations, is cooked with cock or beef, fresh tomatoes, onions, cinnamon and red pepper. This dish is  served with spaghetti. “Sofrito”, is cooked in a casserole with white pepper, garlic and served with chips.”Mousakas” cooked in the oven with fresh minced meat, potatoes and béchamel sauce. You will also find a great variety of starters.

Our waiters will always be there to help you choose the best. Don’t forget to try “Grandma’s Walnut Cake”made of walnuts wWhich are picked in the village.
